3,465 Ceasefire Violations and 1,045 Martyrs in Gaza: The Agreement That Was Never Implemented
Israeli violations left 1,045 martyrs and exposed the failure of ceasefire commitments on aid, movement, arrests, and protection of Gaza civilians.
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM – The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip announced that the Israeli regime committed 3,465 violations of the ceasefire agreement during the truce period.
According to a statement released on Monday, the office documented what it described as the 260th consecutive breach of the ceasefire agreement by the Israeli regime. The violations have so far resulted in 1,045 martyrs and 3,380 wounded.
The report also stated that Israeli occupation forces carried out 3,465 clear violations of the agreement during this period, while 113 Palestinians were arrested.
Gaza Office Documents 3,465 Israeli Violations
The Government Media Office condemned what it described as the Israeli regime’s policy of systematic targeting and genocide against the Palestinian people, stressing that the occupation bears full responsibility for the continued catastrophic deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
The office called on the mediators and guarantor countries of the ceasefire agreement to compel the Israeli regime to fully implement all provisions of the agreement and immediately halt the ongoing violations.
Aid and Movement Commitments Left Unfulfilled
According to the report, international commitments on humanitarian assistance have largely failed to materialize. Of the 156,000 aid trucks that had been pledged under the agreement, only 55,539 trucks—equivalent to 36 percent—have entered the Gaza Strip.
The same shortfall was recorded in the movement of travelers. Out of 21,800 people who were expected to be allowed to travel, only 8,016 people, or 36 percent, were able to leave or enter under the terms of the agreement. (PW)
