14 U.S. Military Bases Across the Region Struck by Iran
Tasnim confirms wide-ranging Iranian strikes following U.S.–Israeli aggression
Iran | PUREWILAYAH.COM — Iran has carried out a wide-ranging military retaliation targeting 14 U.S. military bases across West Asia, according to military sources cited by Tasnim News Agency, marking a major escalation in the confrontation between Tehran and Washington.
The strikes were launched as part of what Iranian officials describe as a legitimate response to joint U.S.–Israeli aggression against Iranian territory.
Military sources confirmed that Iranian attacks have struck American installations across multiple countries in the region.
Earlier, Behnam Saeedi, Secretary of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in Iran’s Shura Council, stated that Iranian Armed Forces had already targeted seven U.S. bases across seven different countries, emphasizing that Iran’s response was immediate.
Saeedi added that the actions carried out so far represent only an initial phase, describing them as a rehearsal, while warning that a more decisive response remains ahead.
Iran has repeatedly warned that U.S. military bases across the region would be targeted should the Islamic Republic come under attack, a position reiterated by Iranian officials amid the ongoing escalation.
IRGC Strikes Fifth Fleet Headquarters and Gulf Installations
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that missiles and drones targeted the headquarters of the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, along with other American military installations in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and across the region.
The operation was described as a crushing strike, aimed at U.S. command, naval, and force-projection capabilities.
Across the Gulf, U.S. bases in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, and Qatar came under attack. Kuwait’s Defense Ministry confirmed that Ali al-Salem Air Base was struck after Iranian ballistic missiles were launched in retaliation for U.S.-led aggression against Iran. Explosions were reported across much of the Gulf—with the exception of Oman—as well as in Iraq, Syria, and Jordan, underscoring the breadth of the Iranian operation.
The United States maintains eight permanent military bases in West Asia, primarily in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE, while also operating or accessing additional facilities across Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Syria. Iranian officials have long characterized this extensive military footprint as a source of regional instability and a legitimate target during hostilities.

Occupied Territories Under Fire as Region Enters New Phase
At the same time, air-raid sirens sounded continuously across the occupied Palestinian territories, with reports of explosions and direct hits as successive waves of Iranian ballistic missiles reached their targets.
Israeli authorities implemented emergency measures, while regional airspace closures were announced as multiple countries suspended civilian flights amid ongoing missile and drone operations.
Iranian authorities insist that the current strikes are defensive and retaliatory, imposed by U.S.–Israeli actions against Iranian sovereignty. Officials have stressed that operations will continue as long as aggression persists, signaling that the confrontation has moved beyond isolated exchanges into a region-wide military phase.
With American command centers, naval headquarters, and military bases now under direct fire across West Asia, Tehran places responsibility for the escalation squarely on Washington and Tel Aviv, warning that continued aggression will invite broader and more forceful responses. (PW)
