By Staff, Agencies Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard [IRG], Major General Hossein Salami praised the Muslim world’s struggle against the arrogant powers, saying the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement is vigorously thwarting all ‘Israeli’ plots as soon as they are hatched. In a speech in Iran’s western city of Kermanshah on Monday, General Salami paid tribute to martyrs for paving the way for the liberation of Muslims from modern slavery.

“Thanks to the sacrifices made by the martyrs, the whole Islamic world has now turned into the field of struggle as the arrogant forces are getting away,” he added.

“Today, Lebanon and Hezbollah are standing strongly against the Zionists, and whenever the enemy seeks to take any action, Hezbollah would nip them in the bud,” Salami stated.

He also took a swipe at the US government for bringing about poverty and underdevelopment in the world and for plundering the assets of the nations.

In remarks in commemoration of the International Quds Day in May, Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei said the downward movement of the Zionist regime has started and it will not stop.

"Since the first day, the Zionists turned the usurped Palestine into a terrorist base.

‘Israel’ is not a country, rather it is a terrorist camp against the Palestinian nation and other Muslim nations," Imam Khamenei said, adding, "Fighting against this despotic regime is fighting against oppression and terrorism.

And this is a collective responsibility.”
