A new circulation issued by UNRWA (UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) in Gaza outraged the locals as well as the educational officials.
A letter was sent by UNRWA to the educational officials across the Strip, besieged by the Zionist enemy, demanded that they hand out a booklet that promotes homosexuality at schools.
Mohammad Shwaideh, chairman of Arab employees at UNRWA institutions, stressed that he had warned the UN agency against such a move, affirming that such a cultural, religious, educational and human violation may never be accepted.
Popular committees in Gaza called on UNRWA to withdraw the document immediately, expressing readiness to hold protests if the UN agency rejects their demands.
The Palestinian factions indicated that UNRWA's moves comes in response to the US pressures, adding that the plot is aimed at ending the role of the agency.
