The Islamic Jihad prisoners at the Israeli jails continued their hunger strike for the fourth consecutive day in protest of the persecution inflicted upon  them by the prison authorities.

It is worth noting that 6 Palestinian prisoners, 5 of whom belong to the Islamic Jihad Movement, managed in early September to escape from Gilboa jail despite the strict Zionist measures before they were recaptured by the enemy
