By Staff, Agencies Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Yamina leader Naftali Bennett on Thursday, agreeing to “meet again,” according to a joint statement. “The meeting was conducted in a good spirit and in a positive atmosphere,” the statement claimed.

So-called president of the Zionist entity Reuven Rivlin tasked Netanyahu with forming a government on Tuesday, but Netanyahu is short of a majority of seats in the Knesset, the Zionist parliament, to form a coalition.

Yamina, which won seven seats in last month’s elections, nominated Bennett instead of either Yair Lapid, the leader of the second-place centrist party Yesh Atid, or Netanyahu, whose Likud won the most seats with 30.

Unless chances the Zionist entity will return to unprecedented fifth elections is high unless political parties will be able to put aside differences and form a government.

“Since the election, countless ‘Israelis’ have pleaded with me to take ‘Israel’ out of the ongoing chaos,” Bennett said upon arriving at Netanyahu’s Residence.

“I come here with a lot of good will, and I promise to do everything I can to rescue ‘Israel’ from the chaos.” The meeting lasted from 8:30 pm to around 11:00 pm, and followed an earlier meeting with Religious Zionism leader Bezalel Smotritch
