Israeli occupation forces raided cities of Tulkarm and Nablus in northern West Bank, prompting clashes and injuries among Palestinian residents.

Local sources in Nablus reported that large number of Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided the city and the neighboring camp early on Tuesday.

Different kinds of armored vehicles, including bulldozers, were deployed to the scene of the raid, Israeli snipers were spotted on the roofs of the buildings, according to the sources.

Palestinian resistance fighters rushed to defend the camp, firing at the IOF and detonating local-made explosive devices.

Palestinian Red Crescent announced that at least 39 people were injured in Askar camp, east of Nablus.

The Palestinian health organization noted that injuries were suffocations and wounds of rubber bullets fired by occupation forces.

Elsewhere in Tulkarm, IOF raided Nur Shams camp, prompting clashes with Palestinian resistance fighters.

Israeli media reported that an Israeli soldier was injured in the clashes.

Palestinian media reported that the IOF failed to arrest or kill any of the fighters on the Israeli “wanted list”.

“None of the resistance fighters were located by the army, therefore the latter went on a rampage destroying local civilians' properties, including this grocery store,” Quds News Network reported.
