Yemen-Press Following the release of 22 Yemeni prisoners in western Yemeni province of Taiz, al-Jazeera quoted the International Committee of the Red Cross as saying that talks between the ex-Yemeni [Hadi] government and Sana'a government on exchanging Yemeni prisoners had resumed. At the 2018 Stockholm talks, the two sides agreed to exchange 15,000 prisoners and hand over the list of prisoners to the United Nations, but implementation of this agreement was hampered by dispute of the two sides over its clauses.

It is necessary to mention that Yesterday, Tuesday, the Yemen's National Committee for Prisoners' Affairs based in Sana’a announced the release of 13 prisoners from the Yemeni army and the Popular Committees in an exchange deal.

'With the help of the God, today, Tuesday 4/8/2020, 13 prisoners from the Yemeni army and the Popular Committees were released in Taiz Front during an exchange deal through local negotiation,' Abdul Qadir al-Murtada, the head of the Committee said.
