Yemen situation amid floods and Covid-19

Yemen-Press 17 Yemeni people lost their lives by heavy rains in different parts of Yemen, while the coronavirus victims exceeded 500 people.
According to al-Jazeera , an official statement issued by the Ministry of Health in Hadi's government stated that 16 people, including eight kids had drowned in Marib province.
In recent days, Yemen has witnessed heavy rains and floods in several provinces including Sana'a, Amran, Marib, Hodeidah, Taiz, Hadhramaut and Saada.
Sources added that recent rains and floods have destroyed dozens of homes and farms.
According to a statement, the Yemeni government called for immediate solutions to reduce potential risk of flooding, as well as assistance to those affected.
Covid-19 at war zone
According to recent official statistics in Yemen, there are 1,760 confirmed cases from coronavirus, 506 deaths and 863 recoveries in the country.
