EU lawmakers accuse pharmaceutical firms of contributing to the bloc's floundering vaccination rollout.

Large inoculation centers across the European Union are barely being used due to vaccine supply issues. Less than 10 percent of the EU's inhabitants have so far been given a COVID-19 vaccine.

This is minuscule when compared to the progress made in the bloc's closest allies, the UK and US Vaccine producers have been grilled in the European Parliament.

AstraZeneca is accused of not fulfilling contracts it signed with the EU
