Press TV, Tehran Stories of bravery and self sacrifice during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran take central stage in a theater festival in Tehran.

The event seeks to recount Iranians' resistance in the face of Iraq's aggression against the country in the 1980s. Soldiers of peace -- These plays are performed by military staff from the armed forces of Iran.

The plays compete in a festival called Trench Theater.

The festival seeks to recount the eight-year Iraqi imposed war on Iran in the 1980s.

Eighty-six ensembles from different units of the armed forces took part in the festival to perform their plays.

And this awards ceremony honors the best.

The festival has two sections of street plays and stage performances.
