Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday that Shah Cheragh terrorist incident disgraced the “hypocritical and black-hearted” Americans.

The Supreme Leader, who had received the families of Shah Cheragh attack martyrs, said that this bitter incident made hearts saddened but will remain in the history of Iran.

Ayatollah Khamenei called on the cultural bodies of the country to further reflect on the incident and produce artistic works about it as they have done about Ashura and other significant historical events.

The assassination of pilgrims is different from other terrorist attacks which further disgraces the enemies, the Supreme Leader said, adding that besides the murderer and traitor culprits of the incident, the main supporters and creators of Daesh also have a share in this crime.

They are so liar, black-hearted, scandalous and hypocritical that they raise the flag of human rights in theory, but in practice, they create dangerous terrorist groups, Ayatollah Khamenei pointed out
