TEHRAN, September 21 (MNA) – The Lebanese army issued a statement on Tuesday announcing that a group of ISIL elements has been arrested in Tripoli, Lebanon.

The detainees had purchased weapons and ammunition to carry out terrorist attacks, the statement said.

It added that the arrested elements had sought to attract other people in order to reinforce their terrorist measures.

As reported, the network has started its activities back in June and had taken a terrorist measure in Tripoli on August 8.
