Tehran, March 30, IRNA – Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed on Monday announced his country support to Iran in battling coronavirus in a phone conversation with Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

During the phone conversation, he voiced the Mauritanian government and nation 's solidarity with the Iranian government and people in fighting the highly contagious virus.

Zarif, for his part, explained Iran's measures against spread of coronavirus concurrent with the US illegal, unilateral and cruel sanctions.
