TEHRAN, April 09 (MNA) – The second international meeting between Iran and Africa will be held in Tehran on April 26 with the participation of representatives and economic ministers of more than 30 African countries.Speaking in the first meeting of the "Foreign Economic Relations Coordination Headquarters" in the new year in the Iranian calendar (which began on March 21) in Tehran on Tuesday chaired by the Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mehdi Safari in Tehran, he emphasized the importance of using the opportunity of holding the second edition of the international meeting between Iran and Africa to develop the exports of goods and the exports of technical and engineering services.

The second international meeting between Iran and Africa will be held in Tehran on April 26 with the participation of representatives and economic ministers of more than 30 African countries.

In the meeting, the latest status of the 1403 (2024) Iran Export Capabilities Exhibition known as "Iran Expo 2024, including the level of participation, capacities and capablities, and plans of Iran Expo were also discussed.

At the beginning of this meeting, the Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy explained the importance of strategic relations with the friendly and neighboring country of Pakistan, the fields and plans of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of customs, science and technology, health and treatment, banking, technical and engineering services, markets and border and called on all the organizations and relevant authorities that are operating in the field of economic relations with Pakistan to take the necessary measures to finalize and operationalize the agreements and plans in progress.
