The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has now reached its 201st day, with renewed artillery and aerial bombardment hitting various areas across the region.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported a rising death toll of 34,183 martyrs and 77,143 injuries since the conflict began on October 7, 2023.

Recent attacks include violent raids on cities like Rafah, Gaza City, Beit Lahia, and others.

As a result, several civilians have been killed and injured, with the UNRWA estimating that more than a million Palestinians have lost their homes and 75% of the population has been displaced.

The situation in Gaza City is particularly dire, with a looming environmental catastrophe caused by the cessation of water wells two weeks ago.

UNRWA Warns of Environmental Catastrophe as Water Wells Dry Up After 200 days of war in Gaza, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has reported widespread destruction of crucial infrastructure, leaving over a million people homeless and 75% of the population displaced.

Salama Marouf, head of the information office in Gaza, has issued a grave warning about the looming environmental disaster facing Gaza City due to the complete shutdown of water wells two weeks ago.

The city is on the brink of a severe water crisis, exacerbated by the depletion of fuel supplies.

The relentless aggression has decimated the city's only desalination plant, over 40 water wells, and 120,000 meters of water networks.

Meanwhile, civil defense teams in Gaza are tirelessly recovering bodies of martyrs from a mass grave in Khan Yunis, with specialists confirming the use of internationally prohibited weapons that cause rapid decomposition of the victims' remains.

Amid ongoing air strikes and bombardments, thousands of Gazans remain trapped under rubble and on roads, with the occupying forces hindering rescue efforts.

The Israeli aggression has resulted in widespread suffering, with hundreds of thousands of residents enduring unbearable conditions without access to water and electricity, while humanitarian aid struggles to reach those in need.
