Despite the Israeli oppressive restrictions aimed at denying access to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in Ramadan, more than 120,000 Palestinians performed the third Friday prayer of the holy month at Islam's third holiest site.

The Muslim Waqf in occupied Al-Quds announced on Friday that 125,000 Palestinians performed the third Friday prayer of Ramadan in Al-Aqsa Mosque and its vicinity.

Palestinian media reported heavy restrictions in occupied Al-Quds, with Israeli occupation forces imposing barriers at the gates of the holy mosque and across the entrances of the occupied city.

Video circulated on social media showed IOF obstructing the entry of Palestinian worshippers into Al-Aqsa compound.

Other photos showed Palestinian women worshippers praying at the Israeli checkpoint of Qalandya after being denied access into Al-Quds by Israeli occupation authorities.
