TEHRAN, April 29 (MNA) – Israeli officials increasingly believe that the International Criminal Court is preparing to issue arrest warrants for the regime's senior officials on charges related to the Gaza war.The Israeli officials, who are worried about the potential fallout from such a case, said they believe that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is among those who might be named in a warrant, The New York Times reported.

An Israeli regime official said that the possibility of the court issuing arrest warrants had informed Israeli decision-making in recent weeks.

Israel waged its brutal war on besieged Gaza on October 7 after Hamas carried out an unprecedented operation against the occupying entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

Israel has imposed a complete siege on the densely populated territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
