TEHRAN, April 29 (MNA) – FIFA President Gianni Infantino felicitated the winning of the title of AFC Futsal Asian Cup by the Iranian national men's futsal team in the Thailand-hosted final.In reaction to the Iranian national futsal championship in the 2024 Futsal Asian Cup, Infantino posted a photo of the Iranian national futsal team on his Instagram story, saying, "Congratulations Iran on qualifying for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024 in Uzbekistan.” The 12-time champions Iran faced Thailand in the final of the 2024 AFC Futsal Asian Cup in Bangkok on Sunday and defeated the hosts 4-1 to bring to Iran the 13th trophy.
